Legal notice and terms of use
The terms under which MechLab Geek can be used, in plain words.
Who runs this site
MechLab Geek is an independent, non-commercial project about mechanical engineering. Contact: contact@mechlabgeek.com.
What it is for
It gathers the dimensions, tolerances and related data of standard fasteners (DIN and ISO) so they can be looked up quickly. It is free to use and needs no account.
No affiliation
MechLab Geek is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to DIN, ISO, DIN Media, any other standards body or publisher, or any manufacturer or retailer. Standard numbers are used only to say which standard a table follows; names and trademarks (such as Torx, Phillips and Pozidriv) belong to their owners.
Accuracy of the data
The values are prepared with care, and each table says whether they have been verified. They are given for reference only: before you design, buy or build anything, check the values that matter against the standard itself or your supplier. MechLab Geek accepts no liability for decisions made, or damage caused, on the basis of this site.
Intellectual property
The texts and code of this site are original and belong to its author. The standards themselves are not reproduced: the site gives technical data (dimensions and properties), not their text or figures. The standards can be bought from their publishers.
Corrections and removal requests
If you think a value is wrong, or that something here infringes your rights, write to contact@mechlabgeek.com with the page address and the reason. We will answer and, where it is justified, correct or remove the content.
Changes
These terms may change as the site grows; the version on this page is the one in force.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law.
